MONA - Museum of Old and New Art - Hobart

Mona is a must see for any visitor to Hobart.

Eclectic and a little weird, but very enjoyable.

Two fingers up to the stuffy arty farty brigade.

You can wander for hours.

Bruny Island

South of Hobart to Kettering, we find the Bruny Island Ferry.

Christmas holidays have brought the tourists out in hordes.

First stop is at Get Shucked.

Its a very popular Oyster shack with the best oysters I've had.

Kilpatrick in this case.

Then on to the Bruny Island Cheese Company.

All manner of jams, cheeses and wood fired breads can be found here.

Further down we approach the Bruny Island Isthmus.

Christmas on the Isthmus I say.

Try and say that without lisping.

Right down the bottom of the island is Cloudy Bay.

A roiling surf of whitewater which would be treacherous to board ride.

Fresh oysters, woodfired bread and hard cheese for lunch.
