After quite a comfortable camp on the Bridle Track we headed south to Bathurst.
We had a bite to eat in the local Subway then pushed on to Newnes.
Newnes is the site of an old shale oil mining area.
The river is sandy and cold. :D
Ask Ben.
Its starting to look bad here.
Woops. I tried not to laugh. We've all done it.
Nice recovery. But damn that waters cold.
I parted ways with the boys at Lidsdale.
Ben was on a mission to get home.
I was confident we'd make it in good time.
But family comes first.
I decided to run Blackfellows Hand Trail down to Old Bells Line of Road.
